If you’re not familiar with my backstory about how I came to be in the health and wellness space, I’ve been posting a series of short videos to share my journey, which began in July 2009 when I survived a heart attack during a 60-mile bike ride. This is the first video in the series.
I’ll be sharing more over the coming days, introducing the style of yoga I created: Yoga to Thrive. I hope my story encourages women everywhere to listen to their bodies, know their risk factors for heart disease, and learn the signs and symptoms of a heart attack (which are different for us than for men).
